Step 1: Connect to a network.
Step 2: Open Command Prompt.
(Go to Run and type CMD and hit Enter)
Step 3: Type ipconfig in the command prompt and
press Enter. You will get an output (as shown in the picture) which contains
all the information about your connection, including the IP address.
If your computer is connected to the network through
a LAN (via LAN port), your Local IP address will be displayed.
If your computer is connected to the network through
a wireless modem (via USB port), the IP address provided by your Internet
Service Provider (Public IP) will be displayed.
You can also find out your Public IP Address by
accessing any of the websites given below:
whatismyipaddress.com
whatismyip.com
ip-lookup.net
whatsmyip.org
Or simply googling "ip address" reveals
your public IP address.
