Convert images into text

Sometimes when you want to get text from an image file to a text file you have to type it all into notepad. This is really difficult especially if the text is long and you are a novice tipper. An easier alternative is using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. There are many online services providing you with this. But I am going to teach you a little trick to extract text from images using software included in the Microsoft office package called One Note.

Step 1: Go to Start menu > All programs > Microsoft Office> Microsoft One-note.

Step 2: Copy and paste the image into One-note.

Step 3: Right click the image in one note and select Copy Text from Picture.

Step 4: Now open notepad and press Ctrl+V.

Step 5: Correct any spellings errors.
